We partner with hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and product suppliers to help them fill otherwise empty rooms or sell inventory. They gain additional revenue through upsells (food, spa, future bookings). We do not rely on "breakage" and fulfill as many offers as possible.
No. None of our certificates require attending any sales or timeshare presentations.
We have access to over 1 million properties. We don't promote specific brands because bookings are based on availability. We guarantee only 3-star or higher properties (TripAdvisor ratings). Mexico Getaways use Vidanta properties; All-Inclusive stays use Barceló (Occidental), RIU Hotels & Resorts, and Wyndham (Viva by Wyndham) Resorts; cruises often use Royal Caribbean and Carnival.
Our restaurant certificates are partnered with Dine.Restaurant.com. Search participating restaurants there.
Some certificates are "Global" while others are "US Only." Reference our Certificate List here.
They are high-quality generic (off-brand) electronics. We bulk purchase via retail partnerships to save costs for members.
Each certificate has a dedicated redemption website where the customer enters their code and follows instructions. Full details, terms, FAQs, and sometimes videos are provided.
Yes, they can choose their destination. Specific hotels depend on available inventory at the time of booking.
Yes, certificates must be redeemed within 30 days of issuance. After redemption, customers usually have 12–24 months to travel.
It ensures urgency and protects against future contract changes with suppliers.
No. Properties release promotional inventory a certain number of days ahead. Advance notice is required.
Taxes and fees cover discounted room rates, processing costs, and taxes. Additional fees like resort fees or upgrades are paid by the traveler.
You can prepay the redemption fee by using "Premium Certificates." However, we recommend rebating taxes/fees after travel completion to avoid paying for no-shows.

Breakage refers to certificates issued but never redeemed. CMI's model is fulfillment-driven — we are incentivized to fulfill, not discourage redemptions.

Yes. You may redeem an incentive yourself to test the process before offering it to customers. We want you to feel confident explaining the experience and answering customer questions. Please note that incentives are intended strictly for legitimate business promotions—not personal use or distribution to friends and family. Redemption activity may be monitored to prevent misuse.
